Given the current political climate, and what she calls a desperate need for positivity, Venita Subramanian with the help of her friends, invited people of Boston to write positive messages of hope on Post-It notes, and then stick them to a subway station wall. Subway Therapy Boston was held at the Park Street and Harvard Square Stations in November 2016 and received wide-spread coverage and feedback. The group received over 3000 post-its in eight hours with messages of love to the community. Venita sees the project as a way to move past the negativity stemming from the US presidential election, and to rally the community with a positive outlook for the world.
The world is a beautiful place because of people like you who write notes like these and share their love.
I have read 20. I've never felt so open minded and knowledgable in my life.
Your skin color means nothing to me!

Have the courage to stand up!
Moving to this city is the best thing I've ever done. We will make it through this.
